Ahhh, thank you guys so much for Friday night, I honestly don't think there is much I enjoy more then getting stupidly drunk and stupid whilst watching you guys perform, it makes me think I can dance and Alex the Kid just made it that little bit more exciting too.

That’s right, SNAP! is back with # 2 and this one promises to be a huge night!

Warm up from the winter blues with a scorcher of a line up:

Sydney’s THE PAPER SCISSORS will be bringing their mix of Post Indie, Garage & Soul to Snap! Recently completing a series of shows and festivals including the Playground Weekender festival, THE PAPER SCISSORS unique sound and song writing has seen a series of successful releases including ‘Howl’, ‘Yamanote Line’ and the highly danceable ‘We Don’t Walk’ which was part of the Underbelly soundtrack. Don’t miss these guys!!!

Currently on tour with Melbourne’s The Fireballs and with shows throughout Australia, JORDAN AND THE ORIGINAL SIX will set the dance floor ablaze with their unique style of Rockabilly and Western Swing. Playing everywhere from smoky pubs to the Metro Theatre, JORDAN AND THE ORIGINAL SIX will have you out of your set and dancing it up.

BUNT'S combination of garage, punk and a physical performance has always made their shows an exciting musical outing. Taking influences from acts like The Stooges, Black Flag and The Birthday Party, Bunt will be bringing their twin guitar attack back to the mountains in what will be one of their final live performances before their upcoming Japan Tour.

The future of The Loft now seems unpredictable… depends on how the Councillors vote this Thursday, June 25. This is our final chance to make a difference.
Come to the protest this Thursday June 25, gather from 5pm @ Civic Park. If you don’t wish to attend the protest, come to the Council meeting at 6.30pm (It was previously 4.45pm than 5.30pm meeting, but the time changed).

Hey guys,
We're playing our first Cambridge gig NEXT WEDnesday 27th May. The music starts at 9pm, so if you're free we'd love to see you at the Cambridge dancing, drinking, singing, or whatever it is you may feel the need to do! Also, we'll be celebrating our guitarist Craig's birthday that night, so come and have a drink or two with us before the show. Other bands playing are Wandering Bear and My Name 4 Your Name.

If yes, think about this....

The Loft could be gone by the end of June. So in 41 days, which is 5 and a bit weeks, The Loft could be closed. WAMB, WOOSH, ZOOOOOOOM... gone.

How does this make you feel? Mad, sad, angry, helpless? Like there is nothing you can do about it...? Right? ......

If you really love The Loft, it is time to get off your ass and do something about it. We can either sit and just let it close, or we can stand up and make a ruccus!!! Make some noise, let the Council know we won't have it.

I sing mainly but i can play piano / a small amount of violin. Had lessons on all 3.

That's pretty darn funny!
Yeah i have an addiction to netball, at one stage i was playing up to 5 games every week. Unfortunately i don't have the time to do it that often anymore so it's just 3-4 games a week (when rep netball isn't on)

so how's the band going?
I'm looking to get back into the music scene with a band or something cool. Know anyone?
