filipio! i is planning a WEST-COAST-OF-IRELAND tour for the easter break; some of the englishmen and weemen are actually psyched about seeing some rocks and grass and shit. we're starting up in donegal, so maybe a portsalon leg if?? if you'd be interested in hangin out/swimming in the sea/climbing some mountains then do tell me. it'd be great to have ya son.

so far i've planned down to mayo, but i got stuck on galway, so i thought sure who do i know who knows about galway? well horse-lover, if you can think about some cool shit to do or see relay them back my way. laters :)

I really want to add Joanne part 3 to my profile! I love it! Dom, Emily, Anka and I are in the country up at Emily's mom's boyfriends house. Last night we went to hear this great band and listened to YOU on the ride home. We miss you man! Our lovely German friend leaves tomorrow and we're all very sad. How are you? Morrow!!! Philfunkel!! What's happening on the other side of the mighty Alantic? I miss ya man!! and so does Anka, Mady, Emily, and Dom! It's so much fun in New York, I love it... I demand you grab your guitar, your multicolored hat, and your green windbreaker and start swimming. Or better yet....take a plane. Yeah that's more practical really. Last night I played my first show in New York with Emily and then played songs in the Subway after. Amazing time...but we need ya here!! Oh and what do you think of the band name 'Ice Cream for Anka'....Dom said it last night when Anka wanted Ice Cream...I though it was a good name. So come to NYC and help us find Ice Cream for Anka! Miss ya man, say hello to everyone for me. Slap Mark's ass for me and give Ulic a big kiss from me:)

I had a crazy dream the other night about Donegal. I was talking to this guy who had traveled from the future to the present in order to right some wrong. The thing was though, he was from Donegal, and the Donegal of the future was pretty much the same as the Donegal of the present. So while he had no problems fitting in, his options pretty limited compared to your typical time traveler. Anyway, I found the idea amusing.

Sorry for leaving you out in the wings for so long. My internet is down....came back from hols a couple of weeks ago to find the antenna missing off the roof! I'm piggy backing on a guy's in the house but it's disconnecting all the time! Maybe I should have stayed in West Cork!

Roisin?! Oh, man. I saw him in Dec, booked through the RD but he ended up playing the Radisson. Consider me well and truly jealous.

The weather here is interesting. For the past few weeks it's been overcast until about 2 pm, and then it transitions into a magnificent summer day. Life in the valley, right? Every so often it rains just enough to bleach the cigarette butts and dissolve ash into the pavement. And then again, the leaves are turning crinkly and the apples and pears and black walnuts are starting to ferment. So soon it’s going to rain for days, and things are going to rot in less pleasantly. It smells nice right now though. Sometimes, usually around 3 am, the air is so still and quiet that nothing you feel to remind you of being outside and nothing you see reminds you of being inside.
