Domina Catrina
Aug 2, 2009 7:02 PM
The challenges an unknown, yet uncompromising music artist faces is considerable. If multiplied by betrayal, ongoing setbacks, social alienation and poverty, it might be said that the artist would only pour anger and fear into her or his work.Facing such painful cirumstances, however, the vision of Domina Catrina is - uplift, rejoice, exult - and heal. Please take a look at my MySpace by clicking on my photo and read my newest blog entry, listen to excerpts from the album I did and burn one by one, and pick up a copy of this home-baked CD if you will
Thank you for allowing me to tell you about this here. Much Love, Domina Catrina

Hello Ron, I was listening to the recording of your gig at the Jazz Standard in NYC which was played on KUVO, and I can say that your music has very High Energy and very real Spirit coming from the heart. As you know, these are the most important and valuable qualities in music, and without them, it becomes just an empty technique without meaning. And as you also know, real music comes from the source of God's love, and it is the means by which we share this love with the whole of mankind. Being a jazz artist new to Denver area, I would be very happy to cross paths with you and let you hear my music also, and maybe play together one day.

Dear Ron, I was a student of yours in your Jazz History class at Metro in '95. You opened up a fantastic portal for me. I was an art major with an interest in jazz music. Your class was the best I've ever taken and has changed my life profoundly. It's great to see that you're still sharing your beautiful music with the world. I will you all the best! J. D. It was wonderful to play with you again Ron. I've really been enjoying the CD too...still listening to Blossom/Stone and all your music lately and loving it.
I saw one copy of your Trio CD at Amoeba Music in LA this month. I already have it so I left it to be discovered.
All the best and hope to see you soon,
