And to all the industry pros that gave generously of their time... THANK YOU! It was awesome, and I'm looking forward to next year (minus the stress of the song competitionm of course). And to all you aspiring songwriters... you should definitely consider this conference. It's a great venue for networking as well as having opportunities to spend lots of quality time with the pros. So, until next year ... just a couple things: 1) Am I the only one who did not figure out that "Sweet Suzie McNeil" was in our presence (www.myspace.com/suziemcneilmusic)? I finally figured out who she was while on the plane back home; I actually shared a cab with her to the conference from the airport and from that moment on I kept thinking I knew her from somewhere --- I could kick myself for not going up and simply asking her where I had seen her before; Oh well ... lost opportunity; and 2) if you'd like to hear my song "I'll Find A Way" song by Tim Buppert from Nashville, I've posted it at www.myspace.com/mereich.
