Brantley Boyd Ford has been a member of St. Thomas since 1985. During her teenaged years she was an active member in the EYC and Handbell Choir. Brantley also attended the Diocese Happening event and was a member of the Diocesan Youth Council. After graduating from Auburn University and returning to Columbus, Brantley was married to Nathan Ford at St. Thomas in 1994. Since then she has been an active member teaching Sunday School for the 3-4 year old class and the high school aged youth. Also, she was a member of the St. Thomas Day School Board from 1998-2001 and is currently a member of the St. Thomas Earth Stewards committee, the Relatively Young Adults Group and has spent time volunteering at the Thompson-Pound Art Program. Both of her children, Lauren and Wilson, were baptized at St. Thomas and both the children are involved in various youth programs within the church. Brantley spent ten years in the business world and now is a high school Social Studies teacher. She feels that she can bring her history with the church and her business knowledge and teaching skills to the vestry in the areas of finance and education. Brantley looks to help the church look forward to new member recruitment and family retention.

I wrote this in the weeks that followed Sept.11, 2001. My intentions were to attempt to embody what me and everyone else were feeling...remorse. This is my first video that I personally made. Please excuse any abnormalities.

I should be so tired right now...but, do you know what? I am energized!! I have some of the best friends ever and we kicked BUTT today!!! Literally, we prepared enough BUTT (thanks, Nathan otherwise known as the "GRILLMASTER") for around 150ish people and raised a heck of alot of money, all in the name of outreach and ministry!!! We raised money in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by preparing pork sandwiches, chips, the best damn baked beans ever (thanks, Laura) and pickles. Top it off with some homemade caramel cake, Texas sheet cake and rice krispy treats and it was hard to go wrong. I am a member of the best group of people ever. We call ourselves the RYAG, otherwise known as the Realtivly Young Adult Group. You can check out our myspace page on my friends list!!! We love adding new friends to the fold.
But we are not done yet!!!!!! We still need your help with our ministry!!!We still are having our second annual benefit supporting MS with heavy appetizers, beer and wine and a great live band for only $20.00 a person. The date is Saturday, April 26th and it is at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. We would love to pack the place. If you cannot come but would like to help us raise money we will be happy to take a donation!!!!!
Roger and I want to thank the following awesome friends!!!!!
Tiffany and David Bonaker
Brantley and Nathan "Grillmaster" Ford
Laura and Kevin Gaddis
Mary and Ray Capo
Karen and Tom Weisenburger
Malone and Robert Moore

Hey everyone. Sorry we haven't been around lately, but between Christmas in Texas and my surgery in Washington D.C. we haven't been able to do anything. Just wanted to say we are back and can't wait to see all your smiling faces. Have a great and wonderful day.
