Oh, and those of you asking for a Black Beta in Melbourne - it'll happen eventually, we promise! We've been trying to do one there for a while now (hell, I'm always looking for excuses to come to Melbourne), but just haven't had the right fit. Once we can team up with a Melbourne-based publisher who has just the right game, we'll do it. Feel free to weigh in with suggestions for titles - check out the Q1 2010 releases on IGN and let us know.

IGN Black beta is back with a bang! After an almost 9 month hiatus it was good to see BB back again at a familiar venue with Wolfenstein is was great to catch up with the IGN crew as well as the IGN Ambassadors and fellow gamers...

Great stuff guys and excellent hospitality shown during the evening would love to catch up with you all again for a drink or 2 :)

geez Michael calm down these guys/gals are entitled to a break.. let them have some time off it's December Christmas is around the corner they have family/friends to spend time with buy presents and so forth.

They work hard all year to bring you Black Beta's almost every month or 2 and you're complaining that they have stopped.. Seriously mate have some courtesy and respect for these people.. stop being so selfish..

OMG! What an awesome night i had at the Gears 2 Black Beta. Cliff you are a legend mate great stuff! Congrats to thos who won the COG tags, life size lancer and a signed 360 Arcade by Cliff himself! Great stuff...

Got myself some awesome stuff aswell signed so im stoked! IGN you are the best for doing this!

Great Stuff and Can't wait for the next BB hopefully somewhere different this time ;) yeah!!

Cheers ign, the Black beta Gears event was awesome!

I'd recommend anyone in the Sydney area to attend the other blackbeta events, really free drinks and awesome games, what more do you need?

I got to play Gears 2 and also got a pic with Cliff Belinski! If anyone is aware of any further events, just let us know; I'd really appreciate it.

I'll post some pix of the night on my profile tomorrow if anyone wants to check it out.
