Hello my friend,
Too long since I've been in touch. I pray all is well with you. I'm still dreaming of finishing that project we talked about many moon's ago. Playing Doctor in real life is keeping me "too busy", But I know that we will get that album done some day. Keep in touch.......

Hey Shem....

It seems our paths just keep crossing, and that our musical tastes are very much alike! So it was only a matter of time until we finally got to adding you as a My Space friend. May it be a long and prosperous friendship.

We first met you at a weird gig down at the Lake Elsinore Storm stadium that was badly promoted and didn't have much of an audience. You were playing with Ambrosia at the time, I was representing Edgar Winter, who's fan club/website I run, and who was sitting in with you guys a bit that night. I know Edgar was upset cuz he had flown in from a long week of touring on the east coast, he was real tired and there was no audience! BUT...good thing for us...we got to meet you guys thru our dear friends Roberta and Bob Mercer, who work the Ambrosia website. Since then, I can't tell you how many times we've seen you! Another couple of Ambosia gigs in So Cal, then we went to see Kenny Loggins (who I've been a fan of ever since the Loggins and Messina days, one of my personal Top 10 Favorite bands of all time!) and there ya were. Of course, we HAD to go to the Loggins and Messina Sittin' In Again tour, and were pleased to see you playing with them as well. So....long story short, we're happy to see you up there jammin' with all our favorite bands and artists. You're a great player, and take it from someone that ain't a half bad bass player in his own right. Keep up the great work...we love your playing, and are sure we'll see you again...somewhere...out there.

Hey Shem, thank you for taking the time for your note and your kind words. And are you kidding? Totally my pleasure. You rock!..and I expect when you sing Opera, you roll there..most likely with few peers as well! I'd love to hear / experience you live in that venue as well some day, even though not my preferred music of choice..for the fact is: Good music is good music. The ancient Greeks asked one question as a group in lieu of a wake when someone passed away, and gave a "thumbs-up" or "thumbs-down" answer as a group to that one question: "Did this individual lead their life with passion?" Seeing you twice in CT a couple years ago..1st with Ambrosia, and then with Kenny Loggins, I was BLOWN AWAY by your musicianship and your voice. You are destined to be a huge unique star with few equals, and what impresses me most, is your sincere humility and thankfulness of the joy of music in your life, and in the lives of others. You have the gift of not only what to play/sing..but what not to play..when to leave holes for others..for in music, as in life, what is left unsaid often matters most.
