Aw cuteness. Well I'm happy for you all, graduation is so worth it too. I remember my counselor telling me that he thought I wouldn't make it and just be a drop out. It comes in handy a lot these days. I have talked to kat, I'm actually hanging out with her tonight. <3

yeah, I'm there for 4 years :) seriously though, just a warning...if you do come to live in prescott, you may never want to leave :) it's so quaint...I had the best mexican food I've EVER HAD in this tiny little shack near one of the "main" roads in town, next to a contemporary furniture store and apparently with a screenprint shop behind it or something :) and it's got maybe 5 tables and...I could go on about it forEVER, but I won't...and the rest of the town is equally as quaint...I mean, there's a walmart and a costco and applebees and whatever...but the town is sort of laid out in an interesting way. It's all sort of built around the natural landscape, lots of things built on or around hills and mini-mountains and stuff, and the main part of town [the old part :D] is all historic and got that old town 1950's "driving the main drag" or whatever on a saturday night :) and then the costco and the walmart and that part of town just sort of branched off of it...and...well, I'M totally in love with it :) plus the desert is amazing, AND it gets a little snow too...

and I'm going to stop gushing...

but YOU HAVE TO visit :D
because...you just do...I'm out of things to say, I'm sooooo tired :(

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, don't be sad boo!!!
we're best friends for life.
a thousand miles of mountains and desert can't keep us apart!

you can ALWAYS come visit me and ghost hunt with me! prescott and the surrounding area are big mining towns, lots of iron and quartz, plus tons of mountains filled with limestone :) according to matthew, there are a lot of rumored haunts around town :D

and it's not EXACTLY their front yard...lol.
but I love dear mechtron all the same :)

and hey, maybe when you're out of OCCC, you can come to prescott and we can rent an apartment together or something...there's no aquarium nearby, though :( but if you go to vegas, we'll still be closer and you can adventure further into the desert any time!
it's down the road, though...and in the time we're apart, I'll miss you!!!

but of course, we have now :D

ooookay, so I was going to tell you about my new ERAU friends who I think you would like quite a bit just like I like them :)
so there's the two RA's that I med (Resident Assistants, aka ResAssists is what we call them at ERAU), Tyler and Kevin. Yes, I know, similar names to people we both know from here :) tyler is a cutie, he's from spokane. he called me yesterday and (I posted a bulletin about it AND twittered about it) without even saying 'hello' he launched into a story about sleeping on his sharpie tattoo he gave himself and it getting smeared on his face, EXACTLY like something that has happened to me more than once :)
then there's Kevin, who happens to be tyler's best friend :) the two of them went out to the desert this one time, dug up a baby cactus [they didn't know if it was barrel or saguaro...] and transplanted it to a spot in the ground outside their dorm...it was a saguaro, and now it's over 15 feet tall :) they call it 'Mechatron' which is somehow related to engineering :)
and then there's matthew...sweet, geeky, loveable, unibrow'd matthew :) president of the Paranormal club, mechanical engineering major...he and I have decided to build a wimshurst electrostatic generator to take on investigations :) and if that works out, he's going to help me build a pottery wheel :D because the two are TOTALLY related. I own him in ghost hunting knowledge, though...he says I could be the next president of Eagle Spirit...
so those are my awesomely dorky new friends :) you'd fit right in with them, you awesome dork you :)

phone tag bummer :( I finally ordered my ak-47 shirt today...hopefully it'll get here soon :) and I got the tote bag and the gun-camera pin, too.


just text me after school when you want to get together and I'll come over :) I'm basically doing laundry all day so I've got clean stuff for my phoenix weekend...gotta look supah fly for my future classmates :D I'll bring over my video camera and laptop so we can shoot wherever and edit stuff out if we want :) and I got bored so I sort of made a list of people I think we should make videos for...short list, but we'll see who we want to do :)

it was awesome. so awesome. we pretty much ran out of food and we were down to a liter of water among the three of us with one day to go. we were going to filter out some fresh water from one of the pools we knew of, but decided traveling back 6 miles was going to cause more harm than just conserving a liter of water would. we saw almost nobody out there, it was great. on the second to last day, we hiked out twelve miles to the colorado river, and hanging out on a steppe ledge onethousand feet above the canyon bottom was effing amazing. the wind came in on the final day and night and tore our camp apart. PLUS, the moon was so bright every night, it was full daylight in the middle of the night. the stars were awesome. we found three separate huge caverns to climb up into and explore. nothing much besides rocks, but the exploring was great anyways.


i built a cairn in a spot where it will not be blown down or messed with until i return again. i cannot wait till my return to that land.


hopefully when that happens, you will be able to travel along with me.

and kevin just.....i don't really know what to say about that. i cannot imagine hearing him describe lecture-style the ins and outs of buttsex and the lowest GI tract organs. using a pointer and such on the chart to ensure the visual learners understand... D;
