hello mafalda,

I’m glad that your cards and book are going fine. yep, i know how it is to handle updates. lots of work but worthy.
two boys can be quite a nice challenge 

oh! that table your friend gave you must be lovely. Your mention to collages remind me that i need to get back to my own. they’ve been a bit neglected.

as for my work in progress, you know, your question make me realise that, at least for the time being – one never knows when the present will become the past/future or vice-versa -, that mondo bizarre is my past work. gold kissin’ is based on photos of events and concerts. even if there are no shortage of those here in porto i’ve become more and more centered in family, friends and all the new good things that are coming into my life. still, when i’ll attend gigs and the likes i will keep taking photos. a sample of things is a much more personal project. it is timeless and it goes along with my feelings and inspiration.

i don’t dislike poppy flowers but i prefer orchydeas. they are lovely  and i’m sending you an adorable white striped of purple one.

warm yellow regards,

raquel

good morning, mafalda,

thanks for the explanation regarding light of the goddess. the idea held in ancient greece of gardens was wonderful and one we should recover. like you i've studied art history, which included classic history and culture so i'm a bit familiar with old greek concepts.
:-)

you know, last night i looked around your lovely site and went into your oracle garden. and, yes, there was some light and whispering, but, given the circunstances, i'm not sure it is wise to go down such path/wait/hope for it to have that outcome. it would be a choice of the heart but a very unwise, even not logical/sane/safe, choice. or maybe, maybe things just don't have to happen twice the same way... but i do have a struggle going on between reason and a divided heart; close doors/knock down old stuff versus new beginnings, expansion, broader horizons, a change of direction.

and still, i feel all is about to have a surpirsing and wonderful outcome :-)

warm hug,

raquel

hi mafalda.

glad to know you're fine. :-) my landscapes have been sunny but an accident confine me to bed. still, it was a good week for soul searching. it took me to look at a lot of stuff and lead me towards a crossroad. and here i am. still, there is a certain tricky choice that must be made for which i have (yet) no answer.

what is the light of the goddess? a book and deck you've created?

i think in a few days i'll be again able to put on my charming high heels and lovely scarves.
:-)

warm hugs,

you're welcome. :-) today there was a bit of sun around here, but heavy showers and losts of wind also. the choice of colours was spread between a smart use of mauve (it can be such a charming tone) and purple.

a rainbow hug.

The sky is filled with stars and the sun...

The sky is filled with stars and the sun,
this earth with life vibrant.
Amongst it all I too have received a home,
and out of this wonder my song is born.

In the rhythm of ebb and tide of eternal time,
the world floats.
Its pull enters my blood stream,
that through my nerve flows.
Out of this wonder my song is born.

I have walked on grass,
passed through the woods.
My mind is infused with surprise,
that the smell of flowers bring.
Spread around me are such wonderful gifts.

I have lent my ears, opened my eyes.
On the bosom of this earth poured forth my life,
looking for the unknown in all that I know.
Out of this wonder my song is born.
