Vincent Robin aka Duck is one of the Fresh Poulp's "veterans". Since the early days of the label, Fresh Poulp wishes to produce and release a 100% dub compilation. To be part of a planetary dub adventure by presenting an active and international (South America, North Africa, Middle-East, Asia, North America & Europe) display of this vast musical community. This is now done with "Dub Tentacles", the first release in a long series of thematic compilations dedicated to dub music. This first one features a special track from Dubosmium (probably one of the most famous artist from our netlabel) with JSD, singer from Dubzoic (an italian band also part of the album – and future member of Fresh Poulp). Premier album pour I-Massive, duo composé de Fingoonet et de Guitoud, déjà auteur d'un album chez Fresh Poulp Records (Analogic Time). On retrouve dans "Fire" la touche dub de Guitoud accompagnée du coté jungle/drum'n'bass de Fingoonet. Un mélange jubilatoire où se trouve également un remix d'Istanbul Engloutie de Rafiralfiro, qui aurait eu sa place sur l'album "Istanbul Engloutie ep's". Ecouter "Fire" est sans doute la meilleure des façons de bien commencer le printemps.

First album for I-Massive, a duo gathering Fingoonet and Guitoud, who already released an album on Fresh Poulp Records earlier (Analogic Time). You 'll find in "Fire" the Guitoud's dub touch as well as the jungle/d'n'b science of his friend Fingoonet. A joyful mixture where you can also find a remix of Rafiralfiro's Istanbul Engloutie, who could have appeared on the related album. Après son premier opus solo sur Fresh Poulp Records (le EP "El Plan B OST"), Rafiralfiro se tourne à nouveau vers les collaborations musicales avec cet "Istanbul Engloutie EP's" comprenant des nouvelles versions du morceau éponyme (paru sur son premier album, "Transe Lucide") mais surtout des remixes de très haute volée. Aux côté du maintenant fameux remix de Dubosmium (FPR003), les nouvelles interprétations de Mayd Hubb, Recycler, Frank Riggio, Phonem ou encore Monkeymarc (pour ne nommer qu'eux) viennent enrichir cet album de vibrations dub, dubstep, electronica ou abstract hip-hop, s'ajoutant aux sonorités orientales de la version originale . Le crew Fresh Poulp est bien entendu au rendez-vous, avec des remixes de Pix, Tsunami Wasahari ou encore [wi-ni] 2.0.

Fresh Poulp continue à faire des petits. C'est désormais au tour de Tsunami Wazahari de rejoindre la family et de présenter son nouvel ep « Ganesh Hi-Fi ». A force de méditation transcendantale, Tsunami Wazahari, voit des Éléphants Roses, si bien qu'il décide de rendre hommage au dieu des pachyderme en lui dédiant cet Ep. Il a donc retranscrit sur ces dub l'ambiance chaleureuse ou profonde de ces souvenirs mystique au pays de shiva et Vishnu. Eggbox s'est aussi initié à la lévitation mentale en nous délivrant un remix tech-Dub du morceaux Ganesh Hi-Fi aussi planant qu'un éléphant volant.

Fresh Poulp keeps making new disciples each month. It's now time for Tsunami Wazahari to join the family and present his new EP "Ganesh Hi-Fi". As a result of practicing too much transcendental meditation, now he can see Pink Elephants everywhere, that's why he decided with this EP to make a tribute to pachyderm's god Ganesh. To do so, he writed down his souvenirs of Shiva's & Vishnu's land on a warm, deep dub background. This EP also features a spaced-out techno-dub remix of "Ganesh Hi-Fi" from Eggbox, who experimented for the occasion some levitation tricks of his own.
