runaways are romantic	Sep 10, 2008 3:45 AM I'm happy my memories are my own, although I often ask other people what they remembered so I can try and fill in any possible gaps and be more objective. But sometimes people are swept away into a perception that makes it impossible for them to retain the original context, and so things are revisited parcel by parcel, but seen with the eye of a stranger. Anyway, thankyou for tonight. I felt like I was back at IAA talking to the same Jon I've always known and it was very comforting. To see that I hadn't been wrong about my memory of how some things had been, otherwise the conversation would not have resembled my memory for the first time in a REALLY long time. I've missed you. But I should try and accept change more gracefully. But I will not accept loss. I guess that is the price that I pay for not having succeeded in my numbness. More things keep breaking through. making it harder and harder to stay steady, or understand how I WAS steady despite so much upheaval for so long. XOXOXO. Take care. I love you, Me.
