EMPLOYMENT: Sakowski Motors is always looking for the right person to join the team. Part Time or Full Time. Apprentice: clean shop, cars, learn, take pictures of cars and put them online, get dirty and sweat a lot, etc..., Fabricator, Mechanic, detailer, etc... You must have a list on people a mile long that will vouch for your character and skills. That's the tough part.
I am looking for all different types of people for different positions but right now a could really use someone to help me: detail cars for sale, list them on the internet for sale, help with the paperwork, and help look for cars online and in person I am interested in buying. You really don't need professional experience for this job, just a love of classics and a decent knowledge of cars. A great job for a classic car enthusiast that like getting dirty and hands on as well as working on the computer. You must be enjoyable to be around.
In the shop we get cars ready for sale, repair and customize classic, hot rods, and customs. We always have small and large projects going. A job waiting to start right now is for Tomy Chong of the Cheech and Chong Movies. It is a 46 Olds that we are going to chop the top, put a custom frame under it which will support a electric motor that will make the car do big wheelies as well as a bio diesel motor to power it around town, all on air ride suspension. We also do traditional rods.
