Lovely flyer! Wish I could make it, but I'll be in Maryland for Christmas.

Hope to catch one of your gigs when I get back. In the meantime: Happy holidays, Dave! :)

Hi Dave,
I am stopping by to hear some of your wonderful music. As I have said in the past your guitar playing and your music that was written is tremendous. I really like your song Dear
Friend, it's a real classic tune.

Respectfully,
Frankie

Hi Dave.  Just thinking about you tonight.  Thanks for the comment- I was more excited about Ronan winning the contest than he was.  I want you to know Rodney and I are thinking about you.  Love you, Joy

Hi Dave....I really enjoyed the 3 recent tunes that you have sent to me...."Summertime", "Village Girl" and "Zenith".  The added treatments provide a nice touch...like the marimba sounding instrument on Summertime, and the mouth-harp on Village Girl.  Love the intro on Village Girl.  Zenith is a peaceful trip down a lovely river.  My only musical project at the moment, is working with some friends on a new CD of theatrical tunes.  Lori is playing bass on that.  The photo is of Silver lake in the Eldorado Forest taken, incredibly, this past Oct. 3rd.  Lori and i were backpacking up there and got caught in an unexpected snowstorm. I'm loving your recordings!!

Hi Dave,
You have a nice sounding guitar. Who is the maker. It doesn't really matter, it's the player who counts anyways.

Best to you,
Frankie

Dave....I really messed up when I accidentally doubled my last comment to you.  That was really dumb on my part, and I want to thank you for not mocking me and making fun of me.  Yes, I figured that you were referring to the performers when you listed the required qualifications....but please.... don't count me out!  I may be only one specific age at this time, but I am determined to become "all ages" in the near future!

Hi
Dave, It's great to see that you will be playing at the Mandolin Cafe again in Tacoma.   I Hope
that those gigs have been going well for you.  All
is well here in the Bay Area.  Needless to say, I wish that I could make it to your
show on the 6th.  I must admit, I'm somewhat confused by the poster.
When they say...."all ages, free, healthy, warm & original".....are
they referring to the performers, or the  audience to be?  If they
mean the audience, then I'm afraid I'm not qualified, for although I am
free, healthy, warm and original, I am not "all ages".  (I am only one
specific age)  Take care Dave.  Good luck on the show!!!    Kevo

Hi Dave..........Thanks for the comment.  That’s just my old band Fielding Mellish.  I was with them 3 or 4 years, mid 70s.  No Culleys involved.  We had pretty good management and backing.    We recorded some demos at Different Fur Studios in S.F., which in the day, was up there with Wally Heider’s and the Record Plant.  It’s the only band I’ve ever been in that both deliberately and successfully bypassd  the bar scene and went straight to a bigger stage.  I’m sure I must have mentioned this band to you before, Dave.  While I was with them, we opened up for Journey at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.  This was the early Pre-Perry version of Journey when Greg Rauley was singing.   I certainly had never before or since played for such a large audience (thousands).  I  was pretty scared, but I think we pulled it off OK.  I love your new profile picture. I reminds me of someplace.   Kev

Dave, your 'Marcel Duchamp' sounds t-riffic!
Taking a listen to your wonderful recording was a great way to start my morning. Both your voice and guitar are emotionally blended to perfection. You really record when you say you're going to : ) That's admirable. I'll try and learn a lesson from you there. Thanks so much,
