Hey there!

I'm a new photographer, yes! And loving it! Not been doing it all that long, and only recently getting into the model side of things. Can express your creative side more in that area, so I'm overflowing with ideas!!! XD

Just had a wee nosy at the competition there! Might give that a wee bash actually!! Thanks for showing it to me!!

hiya, cheers, yeah i have managed to catch a good few of those bands live, which is great! Clap yours hands say yeah and guillemots never disappoint. Shame tho, i missed out on seeing light speed champion at last years Benicassim festival (he clashed with Sigur ros) hopefully will catch him sometime soon. Luving your mag! Keep up the good work!

yea thanks I managed to get it in the one in oxford circus, haven't had a chance to complain to the store in islington yet though but will make sure i do when i get back cause its just not good enough especially if they think its okay to stock nme! i'm back home at he moment so have not problem finding it here!love love the new issue :)

Hey there,<br />I haven't been to get to any gigs recently unfortunately, last gig I went to was Last Rush on the 20th of Feb but I'm going to see The Reno Room, Palmal & Crooked Little Town and also hopefully General Fiasco & The Varionis in April. Well thats the plan anyway :)

Hey, I'm Studying in London at the moment and am DEVASTATED to find both of the Borders book stores nearest to me haven't stocked either February or March's issue of AU! I'm dazed and confused but not in a good kind of Led Zeppelin way. Is there anywhere else in London that stocks it?xo

Glad your getting some time to relax! I never relax, the student life is incredibly stressful, hard to cope.
I havn't been able to find it anywhere! AU seems to mean athletic union over here!
Got the one on biffy over christmas though, it was very good (got me into frightened rabbit!)
Truthfully, the music scene is incredibly crap, I was hoping it would be as good as norn iron, but its not even close.
Nottingham has some good gigs, but its all big bands, and all works out rather expensive (40-50quid), with transport and that..
So ive only been up once. for death cab, would pay 40quid to see them anyday!

so anything from any of those guys will be whppping!
also looking to get a wee solo project on the go, one man band perhaps with guests possibly, chip away at the local scene until i have some sort of local reknown, the kind that people can only whisper your name and electricity swarms through the veins. sorry got a bit poet in the end there tho u get the drift.

I hope so. Heading to The Boss on sunday 12th July so that rules out a 'full' Oxegen/Witness experience for the first time... well, ever! Hoping to catch the friday and saturday, though. I mean, Blur, like! C'mon!

Hoping to get to Leeds/Carling this year too. First time!
Add to that Oasis in Manchester and Slane, Girls Aloud in Dublin and anything else that may crop up. Busy times a-foot!

Credit crunch!? Pfft! A myth! :-D

Hello AU! Alas I most certainly would be going to Animal Collective gig but I fly to Spain the day before Argh! :,-( Can' t complain really but saw them in Dublin & would've loved to have got to this, and on a Sat too! I'm sure it'll be friggin amazing, will keep my eye out for your review.

Well..... We survived it.With only one case of herpes,a chase by the Garda,getting kicked out of b n' b's and hostels...all in all it was amazing.Great shows and great fun had all along the way.

Can't wait to be seeing you guys on st Padddys day.Should be a great day!

The lovely people at AU Magazine ran a competition last week to win Season 3 of Prison Break on Blu-Ray.
As my baby brother is a huge fan of the show and it’s his birthday next week, I entered the competition, and won!!!

So thank you AU Magazine, I am actually a regular reader of your publication as I reside in Northern Ireland and I would highly recommend any lovers of Alternative Music/Arts/Culture to pick up a copy.

You don’t even have to live in Northern Ireland, if you’re a visitor, this mag will inform you of everything that’s hot at the moment, plus it’s a great read.

That being said, they haven’t done a publication on comedy that I’m aware of, yet. I should probably merit a page or two at some stage, but that’s for another time!
