Oddly Max is willingly letting the tennis ball go when I yell release! Usually on the second command. He does it right away when Heidi yells release! He can't quite make up his mind if he wants to sleep in the hallway or in the bedroom. Wait til he swims in the river. He'll be knocked out cold after swimming all day. We love Max.

One day Paul walked into Amnesia and sang Killing me softly. I recognized him from a S.F. Chronicle article about Bad Karaoke at the Odeon. He tipped me 20 bucks that night. I didn't know I ran into the guru of computer driven karaoke. I didn't know I ran into the ultimate go-getter, the ultimate goal setter, the ultimate finisher, the ultimate cheezball dresser, the ultimate selfless sun shade provider, the ultimate networker, the ultimate giver. i love the odeon. i think i was there once when the bad karaoke was happening; SOME sort of shit was going down, and it involved a drag queen yelling at everyone. it also involved some well-dressed folks who looked kind of unprepared for the mission. anyway, go team.
