Well Amanda, 

In the last yr. I have seen two of my favorite musicians from the front row.  One of them you know very well cuz you are with her all the time.  The other one is Carlos Santana and I saw his show tonight at The Joint in Vegas.  I have been A Santana fan for over thirty yrs. and it was A THRILL to see him up close and personal, smiling at me, and jammin like CRAZY!  I wish you an equally long and prosperous career!  When it comes to musicians with heart, and soul, you are two of the best!  Life is good!

Thanks for making my girls day!  Faith was just thrilled to have her fiddle signed by you and the two little ones were just as thrilled.  They LOVE you and enjoy watching you preform, I do too!  They even got up early (on a non school day) to watch you on WWLTV yesterday with one of the cute guys!

   We've been ok, so much going on as usual.. Sunday for the Gretna fest, would love to be there, but not sure if Scott and I can make it..Sat. begins the rosary congress at St. Benilde and we're involved with that, so we may have to be there again for Sunday as well. Will have to check out the time..:)

I just noticed that Amanda..s Jazz Fest performance from earlier this yr. is now available on iTunes, (sorry if this is old news, just saw it now myself)

You can get this show, as well as three of her other Jazz Fest perfomances,


on CD at munckmusic.com.  I ordered them all!

I hope the show at Copper Mountain went well!  Hope you got to hang with Little Feat!

Hi Amanda,

I just watched "Stuck In The Suburbs" on The Disney Channel.  You were adorable as usual.  BUT...To me, Amanda Shaw is first, and foremost an incredible musician and performer!  SO...If you ever start to question your decision to pursue your musical career instead of teen stardom, DON..T, cuz you are the real deal, and you will have A lifelong musical career, AND the respect, and love of your fellow musicians and fans!



P.S. Happy belated birthday!  I am hoping that you will bless us with A new album before you turn the ripe old age of 21!  I am also hoping to make it to your show on MY birthday on Oct. 11th.  An Amanda Shaw show and lots of gumbo, sounds like A great B-Day to me!
