thanks for the kind words.  it's funny you said that because
i always kind of imagined myself singing "...but i fell in love"
as a buddy holly song.  for one of the lines i occasionally

Yeah, the Fuzz stuff got kind of stupid. I was an active member and supporter of the site, but when my Echo Root profile hit #1, folks got nasty and started accusing me of hacking or gaming or cheating or whatever. It just wasn't worth my time to put up with it.
