Dan, you did yourself proud!  The custom plays so sweet and sounds so good that I'm not even bothering with anything else.  It's exactly what I wanted and more.  It's my three favorite guitars all crafted into one tone monster!

If Dan ,Tim or Mike were stranded on a deserted island..I would GPS them, fly to them, then feed them all some soup or maybe some Aldabertos..they are that much of a treasure to me.

HaPpY HoLiDaZe to my boyz at Top Gear!

let's see, i've been coming there since i was knee-high to a grasshopper!...we're talking 80's baby....when guitar tune-ups were $25 bucks. or was it $20? :)
and now i'm just knee-high to a nice-size Marshall stack...(on my knees, of course).

always the best service from all aspects: Tim with vintage amps and *anything* electrical...mike w/ the killer guitar set-up...and dan, with his knowledge, cool stories, and expertise in general...it's like you're living on a page of a great novel. unreal. but real.

these guys ROCK....a trio of unexplainable means...it's definitely great being associated with the masters!

Hey Tim,
I think my wife is cheating on me. Her mobile phone rings and she steps outside to answer it or she says, "I'll call you back later". When I ask her who called she gets evasive.

Sometimes she goes out with friends but comes home late, getting dropped off around the corner and walking the rest of the way. I once picked up the extension while she was on the phone and she got very angry.

A buddy of mine plays guitar in a band. He told me that my wife and some guy have been to his gigs. He wanted to borrow my guitar amp.

That's when I got the idea to find out for myself what was really happening. I said "Sure, you can use my amp but I want to hide behind it at the gig and see if she comes into the venue and who she comes in with". He agreed.

Saturday night came and I slipped behind my vintage Marshall JMP MKII 50W half stack to get a good view.
I could feel the heat coming off the back of the amp.

It was at that moment, crouching down behind the amp, that I noticed that one of the tubes was not glowing as bright as the other 3.

Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to Top Gear?

Thanks
FM Watson

For decades now, only one guitar shop has accomodated all my hair-brained customization schemes and odd-ball guitar setups. Vintage to modern to yet-to-be-created, these guys will tackle anything you got. Top Gear is the only shop in town for me. To the Top Gear trio, Dan, Tim, Mike,,, you guys are spot on.

Wow Dan, my lil ol' 1969 Fender bass never realized she could sound soooo good! I keep looking down to see what bass I'm playing....she still feels like my time honored favorite axe, but her tone is all new and extraordinary. Kudos dude, you rock!
Can't wait to get her up to stage volume....and with 8 gigs in the next 23 days I'll have plenty of opportunity to explore all her new sound options.

To whom it may consider,
Proper spacing is known in all forward leanings and fulfill required portions. (C.E.N., I.T., L.O.S.H., Apple and D.O.N.U.T.). We are one of them and, therefore hold no grudge.
Heretofore mentioning the wherewith all as so stated in paragraph 7b of the Warden-Central on page 18 guide book (page 24 in the unabridged version which is also published in braille) has been happily stated with smile upon our wandering faces.
One guitar can never be said to be enough. However, five Top Gear guitars and a damn fine clone-to-the-bone amp are a good start for the furthermost of all correctness, joy and need to know.
Warmest regards and welcome to the multiverse!
L8er!
