Please make it a point to be at Sinix on Friday night November 13th to join up with Rebel Inc., King Belvedere, and The Hotwire Outlaws as they host a benefit concert for Missy Samel. Missy, a long time friend of King Belvedere drummer Johnny Sexx, is a single mom with type I diabetes and no health insurance. The cost of treating her disease is slowly burying her under a mountain of medical bills and a recent severe episode which included her being rushed by ambulance to a local emergency room has pushed her finances to the breaking point. The bands and the club are pulling out all the stops for this one including a silent auction table with gift bags and gift certificates from several local merchants as well as some rock and roll memorabelia from Enuff Z'Nuff, Guns N Roses, Hellyeah, and others. A ten dollar donation gets you in (every penny of which goes to Missy). Hang on to your your ticket stub as a raffle will also be held for an poster autographed by the members of  Hellyeah. There might even be some special guests in the audience - nothing set in stone but you never know...

Fans of heavy music should check out VSD on youtube. VSD was a killer metal band from Baltimore in the late 80's. Five vids have just surfaced live from 1987. The singer went on to record with Drew in 1992 with the band Speaking In Tongues. The bassist is currently in the All Mighty Senators. Enjoy some old school metal.
