Have a good week, or try to!

(Sorry this isn't personalized to every individual,
I'm sending this out to EVERYONE on the site)
While I'm in the process of doing some 'friend cleaning' see blog, I thought
it might be a good time to ask those of you who *want* to be here to
subscribe to my blog if you haven't already. Not at all necessary to
not being deleted, Just thought I might as well get it all done at
once, since the process is going to take some time. It may also be a
good time for those who don't really support the PTSD cause and/or don't want to see pictures or
comments like this to just go ahead and delete, cuz I can't run this site afraid of
who I can send what comments to. I mean if you want to delete the
comment, but keep me/the site/the cause, that's fine. I just want it to be
abundantly clear, if it isn't already, this is and will remain an MJ
judgment/hate free site. You don't have to like him....just keep the
hate elsewhere. Thanks, I appreciate your understanding and patience
during this transitional time.

STOP Same Sex Abuse
Jun 23, 2009 1:07 PM
About this page:
I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D

I have heard of your paintings too, well enough; God has given you one face, and you make yourselves another: you jig, you amble, and you lisp, and nickname God's creatures, and make your wantonness your ignorance. Go to, I'll no more on't; it hath made me mad. To a nunnery, go!

Much Respect~!!!
Today, July 9 at 7pm (PST) join your hosts Christene Kings and Melissa Chiprin for another fiercely independent edition of Feminist Magazine.
First meet the “Hoop Girls,” just fresh from their rave review run at CASA 0101 in Boyle Heights. The play that asks ….
Which Hoop Are You?
Hoop Girls Will Break It Down. From baby's first hoops, to the angst-ridden teen's brazen 4 inch hoops, to the 3 inch "household hoops"-filled with memories, hoop earrings are symbols of the stages of womanhood and how we are all wonderfully connected.
Joining us from the ensemble cast is Jesse Bliss, Julie Evans, Ramona Gonzales, Esperanza Ibarra, Karla Menjivar, Miriam Moses and writer/co-producer Gabriela Lopez.
Later, Marina Wood, Erin Nakamura, Erin Hale, and Alaina Chamberlain from Women’s Studies Student Association, (WSSA), at CSULB who are devoted to the empowerment of women through education and the development of the feminist identity. Will be featuring a workshop they presented at the L.A. Social Forum. “It Takes A Village To Rape A Woman,” which explores the link between masculinities and violence against women. Framing violence against women as a men's issue and provide possible solutions.
And, Cyn Da’ Poet- Cyn stretches her talent not only as poet and performer but, also as organizer and host of events that allow others to showcase their work. She is currently working on her first book, and is experimenting with incorporating music into her poems in hopes of developing a new genre. Tonight Cyn will be talking about her upcoming event “Evolucion De Culturas.”
Today, July 9, at 7 pm (PST), on KPFK’s, “Feminist Magazine Radio Show,” heard on 90.7 fm, Los Angeles, 98.
7 fm, Santa Barbara and streaming live and archived at kpfk. org.
