we really enjoyed hearing you at the carousel.
we got a nice review for our new cd in last week's chronicle:
Skimpy production adds immeasurably to the lo-fi charm of Lili & Walter's self-titled CD. The 11 homespun songs hearken to Delaney & Bonnie's Motel Shot (1971), stripped down, casual, and alluring in their bare presentation. Rootsy instrumentation propels their sound through denim-soft originals with a rural gospel flavor ("Shout 5") and gorgeous traditionals ("Poor Wayfaring Stranger").

Hey, I am going to be in Austin Sunday Sept 7th thru Friday Sept 12th. I will be staying at the Austin Motel, will be at a grant writing seminar during the day but will be free most nights.
