He Of The House's very first (of many) compilation. Nineteen tracks from twenty artists, the end result of which is possibly one of the most diverse compilations I've ever heard. From soft spoken acoustic folk to raving, churning dirge tunes; from a noisy, industrial cover of a Sonic Youth song to oldschool punk from when it was still raw, fast, and unforgiving. Powerviolence peppers the grounds where spooked whispers whinny along, and the caustic words of a madman festering in his own mind play out over perpetually plucked guitar strings. A true honour it is to work with these amazing artists, and I do hope we can keep them coming back for years.

Salutations.

I am proud to announce (with the sense of a long overdue and slightly apologetic atmosphere) that I am finally properly promoting the release of the sleepers / ginny greenteeth split cassette.  

"Seven tracks from Sleepers, six tracks from Ginny Greenteeth, and over an hour of creep songs from creep people. These are the sounds of the Forest you will never hear about in even the most God-awful and barren of faerie tales. Packaged in a plastique case with absolutely gorgeous cover art. Limited to 30 copies."

I have nine of these copies. The dubbing process was a little confused, so every tape comes with a CD (both sides on one) complete with the cover art and befitting packaging.

Released by Marygarden Tapes (Mike Bruno / ginny greenteeth's own label).

These will set you back six or eight dollars, depending on your location. You can order from HeOfTheHouse.com. Which, by the by, has had extreme updates.

When the cassettes are gone, HOTH will have the album up for download, packed with album art and information.
