The Valley Fiesta will be spectacular as everyone comes together at what has fast become the leading venue for alternative entertainment in the valley. The bands are the best in their field and the best thing is the event is free. Between and after bands, Brisbanes finest alternative DJs come together and will be playing indie, electro, rock, hip hop and alternative party tracks until dawn. Catch The Kidney Thieves at their last show for a while before recording their upcoming release, which is due early next year. The Kidney Thieves have had a massive year so far with a National Tour and are set to explode becoming by far one of Brisbanes best live bands. They will be showcasing all their talents at the Club Blink 1 Year Anniversary Party at 293 - 299 Brunswick St Mall, The Valley, supported by YEO AND THE FRESH GOODS (one show only) and good Sydney buddies NUCLEUS. Arrive early, this event will reach capacity.

one of the things on the list of "things the rogues owe emi for being merch bitch" is some worried and angsty looks from the cairos...unfortunately, it is not to be tonight...good friday is now my new favourite day of the year...if i could remember more of the last 48 hrs id be even more impressed...anyway, the point being, ill have to pick up those worried and angsty looks another night :P

The rumors are all true...The Hi-Fi is on its way to West End.

Who you say? Well we have been running Melbourne’s iconic live music venue, The Hi-Fi, for over 10 years and like all Mexicans we’re looking for any excuse to get well up north of the border. Our pledge is great live music and an insane amount of rhythmical largesse.

Forget Super Model, Idol or even Burt’s barely palatable 20 – 1, we’re about to make the Brisbane music scene larger than ever and are on a hunt for some local talent.

If you’re a Brissie band looking for a break as a support band to some of Australia’s and the world’s finest then bring it on.


We’ll start by asking the headline act for our massive launch party to choose some of you to support them.
