Glad to hear you are gonna be keeping it up, looking forward to that album already. :)

Yeah, not sure how many people are that fussed whether or not we play or release stuff! I am always working on stuff but they are not all necessarily "band" songs (more experimental sketches to try stuff and keep my hand in) and Bob (bassist) does the same (in fact he just finished a most excellent EP of solo material), so in that sense we are always doing stuff, the problem is finding the time for recording/writing/rehearsals between us, and we found last year (and indeed in the early part of this year) we spend too long doing gigs and preparing for them and so don't want to be playing the same material over and over without making time to actually write the new songs. Would like to be more discerning in future and try to play gigs more sparingly (though, the constant gigging hasn't done your new band any harm! If I am honest I am so jealous and wish I had the time to do that!)

The plan this year was to work on an album but I have been switching jobs and working all hours to make ends meet.  Got new songs waiting in the wings and the second we have enough for a couple of new sets we will gig them to roadtest them and aim to release shortly after that.  Was considering making some of the other non-sixpeopleaway stuff available online for free just to see what sort of reaction it gets too, as well as letting folk hear decent demos as and when they are available to trickle out the new stuff, but then, best laid plans and all that!

Hope this doesn't mean you are giving up music in its entirety? How are things going with the Meursault chaps?

Suppose I can hardly talk, finding time for music is increasingly difficult what with jobs and other such "real world" piffle to content with. Our model at the mo seems to be massive periods of laboured inactivity trying to get things done then brief flourishes of stuff to actually present to the world.

Good news on the 7" front. I am sure that I will be in attendance for the Aberdeen launch night.

I'm still toying with how to approach the songs live. A loop pedal may be the answer, but I think that 4 guitars would be so much more betterer. Maybe not even have a drummer. But then I have to find suitable people. ...And write more songsies.

In other news, Panda Eyes is now short one violin player.
