King Tut (New song: Com…	Nov 25, 2009 10:16 PM hey nolan it was a pleasure meeting you!  i want you guys to come out and record at altamont sometime.  i'd do it a deeply discounted rate or something (it's usually 60!).   since i'm new to recording there (and getting paid for recording in general) i'd probably only charge you for the overhead of the studio running (not sure exactly what that is but it's pretty cheap).  i don't extend that invitation to just anyone, either.  i really like your music and i think you're already amazing at recording your own stuff.  there are so many amazing instruments to use there and i'd love to give you guys a chance to experiment and go nuts over the disgustingly amazing mic cabinet.  check out the songs "let's find out" (which you heard) and "francis" and "rue the word" to get the general idea of how awesome this studio is (the latter two songs were recorded mixed and mastered in only 3 days, so they're hardly polished but anyway...also you can check out http://thesixtyone.com/clayblair to listen to the music of the person who engineered us making his own music at altamont.  ps: you know corbie???  corbie = the shit. basically i just want to put my name on one of your demos/eps before your band explodes so i can boost my own ego through you guys.  let's do it in the spring sometime!  seriously!  no joke!  i really want to do this.  also, i know your bandmates couldn't possibly be as cool as you, but if they're at least half as cool, they'll be among some of the coolest people i've met. see ya soon buddy!  let's talk when erica and i are in G-money town <3 mark
