Festen is a glorious celebration of all that is visually explosive and exciting. An event where emphasis is equally spread between music and the grand tradition of the show. The audience are invited to watch a performance whilst being immersed in a huge extravangant visual environment. The celebration continues long into the night with the aid of music choices chosen by some of the interesting veterans of the Korean scene.


The climax of the night is around 1am with a performance from ‘EE’, a group rapidly gaining notoriety thanks to success of the performances given at Club Answer, The Seoul World DJ Festival and Club Vera. The event also features music from DJ MISSTAKER, known as the founder of JACOBIN’s night in Kaewon Art University. EUGENE BLAKE, known as the co-founder of both SPEKTRA & Mix Tape and well known around the Korean club scene. DJ KE

Still debating...

I'm already gonna get some time off because cousins are visiting. And, even though my boss usually gives me the time off, i still need to get paid.

What sucks is that I've got to options for the Cyndi Lauper's True Colors LGBT tour, with Regina in the first week of June in DC, and Tegan and Sara June 16th in Atlanta... I just realized this week it's about 150 dollars or so. Then, Regina's playing at Israel's 60th Anniversary in DC on June 1st... and that's free. But I still won't get paid at work for the time off. And I'm already planning to take time off from the 8th through 11 or something like that. Grrr. Argh.

Oh, I've been thinking... I wanna save up, and let's go to NYC next December and spend some days there. I'll splurge and we can stay at the Chelsea...!!! We'll write a song there and join the ranks of Dylan, Cohen, Joplin who've stayed there and wrote. Then, I thought "let's not necessarily make it December, but schedule it around a possible show that Regina might be doing next Winter (hopefully while touring for a new album release). So? Yeah? Sound appealing?... ?!?!?
