Everybody keeps saying they can't wait to hear your new album. I understand, but I'm hear to tell you we can wait. Relax and don't feel pressure. Get some cinnamon rolls at Ann Sather's. That's what I would do if I was in Chicago.

So, I'll admit. I hadn't listened to Lonely People in about a year. I don't have a great excuse as to why, but I just hadn't done it.

I put it on today, and I immediately smiled a bigger smile than I have in a while. It's so good...there's no other way to describe it. It's a truly great album.

Afterwards, I actually called a buddy who I turned on to the album a few years ago to profess how good it made me feel to hear it again. He stated that he had done the same thing about a week ago, and he immediately played it through 3 times straight.

I hope you realize how your music affects people. It's a great thing. Take care.

devin,saw you were on line, thought i'd leave a message of encouragement. no need to respond, just want to say that I still love your music, and that I highly anticipate the forthcoming, and that I'm ok with it taking as long as it takes, it will just be that much better. you're really great.
