it is also my 55th
birthday. I still have
on stereo cassette the
Frith/Greaves/Blegvad/
Herman-Zu Loft, N.Y.C.
from 12/19/78. Still
one of the most amazing
shows, of the late 70's.

Hi, Thanks for helping me make my page a better place! Many years ago, I managed to find the LP that included Nirvana for Mice & Teenbeat--only to have it taken with part of my LP collection in what must've been a random hasty burglary. You've a fantastic Bio here, makes sense that the band was that devoted to art's sake. Sure is mighty fine to hear the 1 & only Henry Cow again, & it's great that you've cared to help keep them on the map! Oh yeah, thanks for the add too!, Kev B.

I just found "Henry Cow Concerts" double CD, on the ESD label, at local hippie record store for $14.98, what a deal! It is already one of my top 10 albums of all time. An instant hit in my heart.

Art Bears and Henry Cow are some of the most amazingly inventive and inspiring groups of the late 70's and early 80's (was there a late 80's anyway? I doubt it).

Hello there,

Great content on this page. I've been wanting to investigate Henry Cow for years but with little money it's hard to obtain their records which are very expensive on ebay! I finally have a copy of Legend though which is fantastic.

The above bio is certainly inspiration enough to continue to look for further records.
