"A Game In Hell, Hard Work In Heaven" almost made me cry at work the other night (I-Pod). I almost had to explain myself. Amazing song ... the structure is great and everything was set up perfectly. And the main riff... oh that main riff .... tugs at my heart strings. Now, just get Edgy to sign at the dotted line and complete the circle. Asva is one of my fav bands ... can't wait for the new material. Get E D G Y, get E D G Y .... E D G Y ....

My
new 3 album box set ODESSA delves into the disgusting involvement the
United States government had in hiding Nazi war criminals that were
deemed, "intelligence assets", to be used against the Russians. ODESSA
also examines the enthusiastic role the Franciscan Order, Argentinian
and Chilean Governments, and Arab leaders who hated the Jews played in
hiding and finding new homes for former fascists. It seems many nations
had a reason to keep these monsters from being captured, and this is my
attempt to expose the establishment of a Fourth Reich in South America
that still exists to this day. Send $13 cash/check/money order to -

GIRTH

Aug 18, 2009 1:03 AM

Like long lost twins reunited for an episode of an intimate reality show, thus comes http://bit.ly/BkXVJ">the Abodox / Girth split digital release, a free binary form of what would make a favorable 7″ recording, if vinyl existed heavy enough to contain it.

This free split begins with “Stillness in the Speed of Light”, the first track off of Girth’s upcoming 3rd LP, deconstruction. In 109 seconds, Girth manages to transcend influences like Gorguts and Crom-Tech and ascend into the realm of the mega-physical. If Albert Ayler was raised on Metallica and smoked PCP, he would have been strange, and Girth would still be Girth.

Seattle brethren the Abodox reciprocate with the track “Ted Nu666ent,” an equally ferocious and similarly-timed experiment in the musical extreme, from the forthcoming Up The Excaliber LP. Inscrutable time changes coalesce with several tech-melodies most bands can’t squeeze out of an entire album.

So if you’re keeping score, in less than four minutes we give you a collaborative seizure/panic attack which promotes self-destruction through the art of self-discipline. Bow down and receive.

I have decided to dedicate the majority of my time to recording and selling albums.  Currently I am on a Cassette kick, and everything that I am self releasing, or releasing on the label I own and operate (Kapustin Yar Records) is now on Tape.  Prices will remain as low as possible on said products, because Tapes are for die hard collectors or Cassette enthusiasts only these days.  The majority of albums I release on other labels, which is a larger and larger number month by month, are still being released on CD.  That being said, I have recently recorded for The Persona Series (albums for individuals, named after their purchaser, with the owner retaining all rights and receiving 2 mini posters for $10 postage paid), which has been very successful.  I have recorded a 90 minute Cassette, High Above The Horizon, which is available for $4 postage paid, and The Blood Album Part 2 for $4 postage paid.  Please help me to continue pumping out these and other albums by ordering these crazy Tapes today!!!

WORLD SANGUINE REPORT - 'THIRD ONE RISES'

NOW AVAILABLE TO BUY AT ALL GOOD RETAILERS THROUGH CARGO RECORDS DISTRIBUTION

THE WIRE- ‘Third One Rises twists the noble craft of songwriting into a dystopian mindfuck’

THE GUARDIAN - 'Tom Waits-meets-Napalm Death specialist'

TIMEOUT - 'Plummer is a raggedly brilliant singer... '

DIE SHELLSUIT DIE - 'Like all truly great records it rewards the listener who is willing and able to persevere. A record this ambitious succeeds or fails on the strength of its players. Fortunately, the musicians on Third One Rises are more than up to the challenge.'

JAZZWISE - 'Think David Lynch getting drunk with Hieronymus Bosch in the bar of the hotel from the shining. With nightmarish lyrics plumbing the darker depths of the psyches and evocative song names, it is clear that Plummer has a writer's way with words.'
