All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk. Click image to go to download page Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Vektordrum	Jul 29, 2009 9:24 PM Hah, thanks so much man. Just so you know, most of the tracks aren't released yet, but will be hopefully in the next month, maybe in September. Point being though, it'll be out soon, but don't be surprised if my current stuff feels a little amateur. Definitely stick with I, Banished (The album mostly blue) and Hexakosio (Has "VKTRFRY" in big text at the bottom, is really distorted and kinda has a kaleidoscope effect on the cover.) Those seem to be the two people like the most, though some of the unreleased tracks are okay--I released Deciphered (First album on my page there) and the Unreleased Tracks album (The blue and white one underneath I, Banished) by request, though frankly I feel they're a little bit more of a pick-and-choose release. Regardless I hope you find at least one track you like out of the bunch! I've not got any formal plans to sell my music as of yet (This MIGHT change in the future, if I end up printing copies) so keep looking out--three new releases are slated for next month (2 EPs and a follow-up album) and will be free, so definitely check back soon. Darkslider	Aug 1, 2008 11:22 PM i just bought some new gear.i bought a dx7 for $350 then sold it.i know have an actual korg ms2000 keyboard as well as a boss drum machine. i think ill be writing a new song as well. as for dualplover i havent been for a while but next week is toxic lipstick and toecutter so ill pop down i think, toxic lipstick are wierd so it should be funny. ive also scopped out a couple new venues.one on elizabeth st at stained glass, another up on kippax st and a couple out in marrickville.they dothe same as the dualplover i guess, so ill be planning to play there soonish. come down to dualplover next week i should be there.
