Hey Tim - Everything is ok now, but it was a very difficult situation for me. The organization in Korea that is sponsoring our birth search trip emailed me and told me they found my birth father, that he wanted to meet me, etc. A bunch of interesting info and then... 81 mins later, they emailed me and said it was a mistake and they had meant to send that email to a different participant. Not me and that they were unable to find out anything from my file, so I would not be able to meet any birth family on the trip. It was a real punch in the gut after getting me all excited.

I feel better about it today. It was an honest mistake, but it was probably the weirdest, most painful experience of my life. It was really intense and happened so quickly.

Anyway, that's the long story. Thanksgiving has been fun today. I hope you are doing well and thanks for asking... whew! That was a long ass comment.

ya, it can take a little bit of time to get used to a new culture but once you do i'm sure you'll fall in love with it and be sad to come back home... and since you're working there, who knows if you ever will! :-)

I just wanted you and your USC fans to know: I rooted for Illinois by default, since I'm a Big Ten fan. However, I regret to admit that I knew USC would WHOOP THAT ASH! Tell no one...I may be stoned in Ohio =)

what's up..long time no talk..schools going swimmingly..right now im doing my ob rotation..and it's awesome..in a few weeks i'll be over @ choc doing peds..( can't wait..since that's my field of choice)..as for life can't complain too much..thought at the moment all my energy/time is consumed with school,which doesn't leave much room for much else..so busy busy busy..anyhow enough about me..how are you doing..and what are you up to now a days? hope all is well..
