your collection puts all of ours to shame!
I wanted to tell you that before I saw the Desperate man blues doc, I was always very timid about washing records.
using a soft sponge, using special record solution for laminated pressings.
seeing the record washing section on the special features almost gave me a heart attack.... I don't know if they boosted the scrubbing sound way up in the editing lab or what but... I figured if the shoe brush method is safe enough to wash "Original Stack O' Lee Blues", then it's safe enough for my stuff too.
now I get right in there and scrub those grooves... and what a difference it makes.
thanks Joe!

Hi Joe:
First let say thanks for the friendship, it means a lot.
The music that I heard as a kid growing up in the cotton patch and at church is something I will always remember, hell I couldn’t forget it if I tried.
I saw Ghosts of Mississippi movie last night, I had not seen it before.
I say this because the levee roads and the locations in the movie were just as I remember them. It seems like yesterday that I was walking the dirt and gravel roads by the Mississippi River. I say this because I thought of you as well. You must have spent a many a day wondering around from house to house looking for records.
The interview part that was done in Evers brothers radio room sent chills down my back.
Robert Johnson playing Crossroads in the back ground,”I wouldn’t sell my soul for
No guitar lesson” can’t you just see it.
I thought of you all through the movie, but because of the music and how it was made.
Thank you so much for being the friend of the Delta Blues Mr. Bussard.
Henry

Hi Joe,
I saw 'Desperate Man Blues' aired in the U.K. on Friday night and had to find you on here. I watched the entire programme with a smile on my face. Your enthusiasm and love for music was such an inspiration. I've collected records myself since about the age of 7, although I've moved onto CDs too now for my sins! I'm honored to be one of your MySpace friends.
Best wishes, Sarah
