Here are the last few photos from Pere Lachaise cemetery. The A/C system in the house was replaced (finally), but seems not to be working properly. The A/C man is coming back today. Today is print photos day. I like to put together an album of the photos from my trip, so the printer will be humming along most of the day. I did cut down my shots from 337 to about 125 or so. I don't take a lot of photos and hope that some will be what I like to remember about the trip. I also figure that I don't need two or three albums of photos from one trip. My friends probably could not sit still to look at them all. Today we had an exciting moment!. My turtle, who lives out in a plastic pool in the backyard in the summer, was not there this morning. Some animal had come, during the night and pushed the rocks apart and took him (or her). We searched the backyard for a while and then spotted him on his back under some bushes. He looked dead, but moved a bit when he was picked up. Stuck him back in the pool and he moved his front legs but didn't move the back legs. Gave him some food, which he ignored and will check on him later after work. I thought he was a goner. I've had him for about 12 years, since he was a little guy. Since turtles have been around for millions of years, I think he will survive.
