I just read your books for the first time, they was so good. I'm really looking forward to Factotum when it comes out. All the sketches in the books really good too. excellent in fact. The plot was excellent. A very good read, and the twist at the end was very well lead up to. I LOVED THE CHARACTERS! 

Thankyou so much for writing such great book, otherwise i would be very bored on weekends.
hope you have as much fun writing as i do reading...

Hey, Mr. Cornish! I finished reading your book about two weeks ago, and I've got to say, it was a fantastical read. I think the two biggest things you should be praised for is how well you portrayed your characters (which was absolutely superb), and how extremely thorough you are in regards to running your world. Everything was so well thought out that I was exhausted just thinking about all the effort that you put into it (that's a good thing, by the way). As for portraying your characters.....excuse me for a moment, but...CONGRATULATIONS! You did an equally fantastic job on making us feel their pains, feelings, and thoughts. Each character stuck to the role you had given them perfectly, throwing in some fun little surprises here and there to make us really get to know them. (Even if you are holding back some for the sequels.) ;) The only thing I didn't like was in the Explicarium, where for certain definitions you would put "See entry in book one". I don't want to be reading book two, look something up, put it down, go get book one, look it up again, put book one down, pick book two up, and settle back down again.
All in all though, it was absolutely astounding. I cannot phrase your work any better then Lloyd Alexander or Tamora Pierce, but I just thought I'd let you know that I'm praising your name to anybody that'll listen over here.

thanks for the add! Nice to see you here again instead of on Elfwood and ofcourse to see that things are going so well for you! That's really great. I've just ordered my copies of your books. Are there any plans of releasing them in the Netherlands?
Well do tell me if you become a big shot writer/illustrator (if you aren't already ;-) ) and visit the Netherlands for a signingsession.... I do want your autograph!

Greetings To you who maintain this Page.
Im sorry but i read the books as soon as ifound them, oblivious to the fact that lamplighter was only just released. (both were already so well-read)so now im incredible impatient for the third to come out. is there any date? or maybe even an estimate on it? it would be largely appreciated.

I am off of my bed and at the keyboard having just finished! BRAVO! I'm overjoyed, but heartbroken! ---Overwhelmed, but elated! You've outdone yourself, and I cannot wait, although I must, for the story to continue! It was such a whirlwind, and I so much would like to repeat it, but with so many other responsibilities that I have temporarily cast aside, I know that it won't be for some months before I am able to do so. But again, thank you for such a great book! My wife is at turn next to read Lamplighter, and I cannot wait to discuss is it with her! Wow.

Btw, Good on you for releasing it in Australia first, I don't know if that was intentional or not, but we normally get everything last so it's good to get such a kick-arse book first.
