yes, whatd you think of them?

there will be blood was phenomenal in my mind, no better adjective comes to mind. if it doesn't win best picture, it should at least win best actor. I personally think it should win both.

cloverfield was entertaining. the handheld camera never got annoying in my mind, so that was a definite plus. however, I never felt scared or anything, which was disappointing, considering that's what it was aiming for. I didn't think it was a GREAT movie (much less the end-all monster movie), but it was engaging throughout, and I thought it was definitely worth seeing.

dewey cox was really funny at parts, but it was no superbad or knocked up. it got a bit dry in the middle, but it was overall pretty good.

Well thank you very much! :D So the Flash huh? That's awesome!! We were going to be Dan & Roseanne but we were still on our honeymoon and the costume party we were supposed to attend the Saturday after Halloween turned out to be just a party... so maybe next year! :) Oh speaking of Dan & Roseanne! A lady came into our hotel bar Halloween night and told us that John Goodman showed up downtown New Orleans at a Halloween party (he lives down there somewhere) and I was like SHIT WE MISSED HIM!! That would have been awesome :(

yeah man... that was so insane. I literally groaned with surprise when michonne sliced that dudes hands off. that was awesome. and when dale got bit.... holy shit. he cant die. hes one of my top favorite characters. I guess we'll have to see. if you find out when the next issue comes out, let me know.

yeah, it was pretty sweet. the first few pages gave you a glimpse of what Astonishing is going to look like when bianchi takes over. cyclops and emma were in it. it's pretty good art.... but it's NOT astonishing.
speaking of which, did you check out the covers for Astonishing 22? They just released them, I am pretty sure. whoaaa momma. it's Great.
EC comics rule! I have a whole bunch that I havent read for a few years... but I heard that they are reprinting a lot, too. I just read it in Rue Morgue. did you see the newest issue of that? It's Monster Squad themed. I didnt read it, but I checked it out a little. it's pretty cool. some reunion of sorts.
and dude, did you read the new issue of walking dead? I just did. whoa momma!

Well, Cassaday is definitely my favorite artist. the only thing that I've seen bianchi do is the current wolverine arc, which is okay. the art is certainly unique, but I can't imagine it for astonishing x-men. that could be fatal. but it could be okay, Im not sure. there were a lot of other artists that are worse than bianchi though. you know, at least its not ultimates 3'd.

at least we have whedon/cassaday's giant-size #24 finale to look forward to.

dude!!!! that is the newest of the news. that is the biggest news Ive heard in a while...whoa. warren ellis, fuck yeah! and simone bianchi is pretty good. no cassaday in my mind though.
and you said walking dead 39 came out on wednesday? cool man, I just ordered 38, so I will pick up 39 when Im there.

ohhh right. I havent heard if they are still doing it after whedon and cassaday leave. I am really interested though. I wonder what they will do. if you hear before I do, let me know.

I was just on amazon and I saw that warren ellis has a novel out. it just came out today, it's called Crooked Little Vein. it seems really interesting. I read half the the first chapter on the site. it was pretty disgusting.
