Joe WildCat PhillipsJoe Phillips	Mar 23, 2008 3:35 PM Folks, I had a chance to review a preview copy of the new album, "Out On Luke's Highway". You all are in for a treat! This is the REAL DEAL, no phoney baloney stuff here. The performances are straight from the heart, the musicianship is top shelf, and the vocals are the finest that Mark has ever recorded. The SONGS are, well, just some of the best that ever have been written, by this World-class songwriter. There are a couple of cover songs that Mr. Brine definitely makes his OWN! To describe this collection as "old time, traditional Country", would be selling it short. This is definitely a contemporary effort, that pays honorable tribute to a simpler time, before modern music got too "fancied-up". This recording has so much CLASS, that I feel enriched for having heard it. Be sure to grab it up as soon as it's released. While you're at it, pick up a couple of Mark Brine's many previous releases. Each and every one is a unique adventure unto itself, friends.
