THE ANCIENT ANOMALIES BLOG
"Finding our humanity & our missing past with real science"
Mitochondria DNA - Places the first modern woman of around 150,000 years ago in North Eastern Africa. "Eve?" The civilized history of humans on the planet is only about 10,000 years old. This gap in pre-history is inconceivable when one cosiders technalogical civilizations according to history didn't start till the beginning of the industrial revolution(1865AD) less than 200 years ago.
Or did it?
Man's known history is only a small part of the glorious civilization story. Man has had ample opportunity to reach heights of enlightenment, culture, language and complex generation born knowledge giving rise to opportunity for earlier advance civilizations. OOPARTS (Out of place Artifacts), language, religion, history, mythology, astronomy, ancient maps, architecture, writing, art, agricultural development and Neolithic maritime trade routs show us that there are pockets of encapsulated knowledge not included in mainstream history. It is no wonder that we have so little evidence of our past. Disasters have eradicating the majority of past artifacts of civilization by severe weather coast to coast (600mph)hypercanes that lasted millions of years, geophysical vulcanism, earthquakes, global (500ft.+) tsunamis, massive glaciations, and various astronomical impacts from space, not to mention man's historic domination fight to survive against himself in these hostile environments.

I'm happy that I found this page, Cussler is the best... I was bitten by the writing bug because of Clive and his son Dirk. Thanks you guys, can't wait to see the cars Dirk Pitt drives in person.

WOW!! I have been a fan of Clive Cussler for as long as I can remember! And having toured this fantastic museum was such a thrill! This collection is truly one of the finest showcases of automobiles around. I so look forward to visiting again, the staff is so friendly, and knowledgable in the history of these magnificent automobiles.
Dirk Pitt is one lucky guy!
