STAR WARS CORUSCANT NIGHTS - THE TRUTH ABOUT TROOPERGATE Imagine a TROOPS or TROOPER-CLERKS-style film focusing on the lives of slacker stormtroppers involved in a botched scheme about breaking into Imperial Senate offices in order to influence the electorate about candidates running against Rebellion senators such as Bail Organa & Mon Mothma. A shady character (think the alien in a New Hope that trails Luke & Co. to the Millenium Falcon) leaks info on these elite stormtroopers to the Galactic media. In light of Palpatine being implicated in events following order 66, he dissolves the Senate (as is mentioned in a New Hope by Tarkin). A lot more fun than the 'Troopergate' in the news about election 2008. Palpatine for Chancellor!...oh wait....Emporer! Just worth a non-partisan Star Wars related giggle.
