Hey! thanks for the add! Its very cool to have found you! I went to school in Redwing for luthiery,  I went out to washington to work for Warmoth. But within the time of the travel there, business went south, so now Im back in Saint Peter, bartending. If you need any help, or if I could intern. I'd love some more experience! Thanks - Mathias

The lapros look sweet! Someday I'll have to purchase one! Yes I use a beard capo for my dobro all the time. It seems ok and works fine. I know there is probably a better one out there. I would love to see what you have and try it! Next time I'm in kato I'll have to stop by.

and to your question... it depends on the width of your blade. Kerf is always a negative and is relative to your situation... and how many times it's applied to what is being cut. Blade speed may come into play as well if you want to get really into it...
You might also want to consider the condition of the blade as well. The older it is the rougher the cut... more kerf...
