Washington Transcripts (What is really being said in DC)

Look at John McCain and myself, we are both Vietnam era. We both picked ourselves up by the boots after that war. John and I will take no back seat to anybody about our affection, respect and devotion to veterans. That’s why we are both going to oppose this so called new GI Bill floating through Congress and why I am going to veto it.
