Yeah forgot to tell you my cameras were stolen at the Shannon Hoon Vigil...got the vid cam back but not my Canon and lenses...just wanted to say make sure you have all your stuff insured...fatal error on my part.  Most everybody was awesome there but some people just don't care :(

It was in st francisville, la at a plantation house. Its called Inventing Adam, its an indie film backed by paramount :) one of my friends from film class heard about it and they needed extras and we all drove down.

I really had a good time at the show. We meet the first band but Nikki never showed up. It made me sad like a panda. I wish I could have taken pics at the show.

I didn't have to sneak it in. I think, they look at this little hand held camera & think nothing of it.

I got it about 6 months ago, I love it. It's a Canon power shot SX100 IS, 8 mega pixels & 10X optical zoom. You could have got some nice shots from the mixing board with it., I saw STYX @ Hard Rock in Biloxi, I was in the nose bleed area, I was shocked at how close I could pull the stage in. Go check out the pictures, tell me what you think???.. I lost my nice camera & all the lens in hurricane Katrina, don't think I'll ever be able to replace them. Thank goodness, this little gem has worked out for me.


I bet I saw you. I went back to get a poster, before Motley started. After making my purchase I was going back to the floor. For some reason, I looked to my right & saw a girl standing there with her nice camera. I remember thinking I wish, I was her...
Are you with the newspaper? Are you going to put any shots up? I can't believe they wouldn't let you stay for the show. I think, you need to send Nikki, Kat, & Motley Crue a comment in hopes that "Nikki" gets the message. Since, he's a photographer too.

Thanks, I have more to put up. I was in the 6th row, which I thought was great. Then a few days before, I find out they are having a pit. I really think that sucked!!! However, I had my Canon 10x opt. zoom, it did pretty good. The main thing that messed me up was their lights, when they would shoot out towards us, that would totally screw my shots up. I probably took about 300 shots, but had to trash a lot of them. Again Thanks... Don't forget, I'll be adding more.

No. I'd like to but its a little to far for me on Sunday. I saw Seether last year at the Wharf. They stole the whole show.

I have that same sigma lense as well. It does horrible in low light. I don't use a flash when shooting bands unless I just have to. My iso is set to 1600 and sometimes 1250 if the light is decent. Most bars around here don't have good lights and it sucks.

I was using a sigma 30mm and the nifty 50 throughout the night. It was a fun show.

Bullet is amazing live!! I saw them in a very small club and they are the kind of band that doesn't even need all the pyro and lights to put on an amazing show.

When is the Motley Crue show? Kids and I caught bad colds-cough, cough, a-achoo! Hope it's not this weekend :-O Ya know Shannon Hoon was a huge Motley Crue fan and ended up in one of their vids- embedding is disabled on it but go to youtube and look up Motley Crue - Wildside (Drums:Tommy)- when you get to end of the vid- Nikki Six rolls down the runway- say around 4:40-43- you'll see a guy in white wife beater, short blond hair doing the rock on sign- it's Shannon!
