I'm a punk / oi / ska (whatever label you want to call it) follower, and as such I want to read about bands such as Cock Sparrer, Argy Bargy, Cockney Rejects, The Business, Goldblade - what they're up to, where they're playing, what they're releasing blah blah... , without having to tie myself to a computer. So I fork out £3 odd for magazines such as Big Cheese, Rock Sound or Kerrang in the hope of a glimpse of a few lines on one of my favourite bands, and all I can say is that it is £3 wasted on tripe centred around commercial pop 'punk' for teenagers who hero-worship bands such as Green Day or AFI, or worse still, this god awful 'thrash metal' $hit - what is that all about!!!?? (Example: Rock Sound - entire page dedicated to 'Steel Panther'. Who?? And more to the point, WTF!!!??) The point of this appeal: Can anyone tell me if there are any decent punk/oi fanzines out there, which feature real bands such as Argy Bargy, Cock Sparrer, Angelic Upstarts (you get my point)? Come back Sniffin Glue!!! Cheeaz! Angel Oh yea, if anyone can help, can you leave me a message on my myspace please?
