yes yes yes! let's just record. I had an amazing weekend a few ago, and from that I'm trying to get the hell out of the way of myself and the songs, I've got very little ready but that which I do, I'll re-do, I want to re-record 'hurt that hurts' entirely, I got it wrong, let's jam it out, with a big piece of paper, and make something that couldn't have been any other day than that day! let's make a record in a day.

yeah... In the last year I only wrote ONE verse of one song.. in the past four weeks I've written five and recorded three. It's quickly turning into "The Breaking Up e.p." which nicely follows from "The Growing Up"... That new song has been really scary... I actually felt nauseous and incredibly anxious after I uploaded it... I couldn't bear to listen to it enough to mix it properly (nothing is eq-d), the vocals are almost untouched, it's quite "narrow", sonically it's a mess but I needed to get rid of it... it was fucking killing me... and the response from people has been especially kind... I really didn't expect that... I thought it was going to be a disaster... sometimes the risk is worth it... If you're jaded then take a look at what's taking your energy... the best vampires are the ones you don't even notice... I never saw mine until it was gone..
