Tim Russert was certainly the BEST of the BEST and he is sorely missed! Our prayers are with Russ, his family and his friends. As w pray for Russ; let's also pray for the victims of the 911 disaster and their loved ones on this first official National Day of Service and Remembrance.
We will never forget. “This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace in the world.”

Hi Luke, Maureen, and Big Russ. I wanted to stop by to send you all of my love on this Father's Day. It's Tim Russert's day, and the day to celebrate the wonderful father that he was. I hope there are more people out there with a father like Tim. Above all, he really represents an all around great dad. That was his greatest achievement!

Take care, God bless, and big hugs!

Luke, Maureen, Big Russ and the entire Russert family...please know that though a year has gone by, and as hard is it is to believe that, your family has not left our thoughts and prayers for one moment. The impact your father had on this world is still present, and will be forever. He is a tremendous inspiration to me, and all of us, in so many ways. I am grateful to have, even for a short time, shared this earth with the great Tim Russert. As I am reading his second book "Lessons and Letters from Daughters and Sons", it's helping me with my imperfect relationship with my own father, and I wish I could thank him for that. I can't go without saying: He will always be at your side...forever.

God Bless all of your family, Tim's friends, and his family at NBC who have so beautifully remembered him and have shown what a remarkable man he was.

All my love,
-Cary

Hugs to you and your family! I truly miss Tim and 'Meet the Press' will never be the same without him! And, as seriously as he took his job on MTP he could also find great humor with his guests. I will never forget when he teased Dick Cheney and asked him if he had brought his rifle with him to the show that day. It was too funny and meant in good fun! He was a very special, blessed and gifted man! ~Wyntyr~

A sad anniversary is coming up and your family is in many people's thoughts and prayers. It is amazing how you are still missed so much. A man who showed that you can be in politics and entertainment and still be the epitome of class and integrity. God bless.

Thank you for providing this page to allow us to pay our respects to this amazing man. Tim Russert showed me that by listening to the opinions of my adversaries and respecting their humanity honors my own. I chose Tim as a role model many years ago and miss his presence in this world so very much. Tim made me want to be a better person. Good journey Tim. -Angela

What a great site to remember a great man. I have missed Tim more than ever with everything that has been happening in our world. When nobody else could make sense of it all, Tim had a way of just explaining it in the most common of terms. The great ones, it seems, are just never with us long enough. Best thoughts and wishes to the Russert family.

Thank you for adding me to your tribute page.
The world has lost the most powerful and honest voice in the U.S. media and I feel sorrow for Mr. Russert's beautiful family. He was tragically taken much too soon. My prayers are with them.
Blessings and Love, Cindy

Tim, it looks like the Bills could use some angelic help in 2009.

Please feel free to whisper in Dick Jauron's ear and suggest plays which will actually result in points for the Bills and not their opponents. He needs some help keeping an eye on the clock, too.

Please also feel free to whisper in the ears of Ralph Wilson and Bill Cowher after the '09 season, regarding the possibility of Cowher coaching the Bills in 2010.

Go Bills!!

As I was watching the Today show this morning, the story was about the senate seat... I am rather ignorant of politics and usually just get a vague idea, but Tim would always make things clear and explain in a way I could understand and care about. He is surely missed and especially during this moving and historic time and I'll never forget the insights I saw with his help.
