Whats going on? We just posted our new EP "The Takeover" posted two new live videos "City Fire" and "Summer Hour" and have two shows coming up with Crown of Lions and The Glory of Armageddon. FRIDAY @ Gilligans Getaway 7pm in Plattsburgh, NY and Saturday @ Oddfellows Hall in Burlington, Vermont!

Dear friends! We are happy to see a good year go towards a good end. Again we will be playing our Christmas Show in the Moscow Megasphere - and that really makes us happy. The Moscow crowd is one of the best in the world and we would love to have you all with is. It's gonna be one hell of a rock party! Our website has undergone major updates at the moment, but it's back and we highly recomment that you pick up your free Single and DVD "Chase the Dragon" and tell us what you think. Ok heres the deal. Theres a booking scam going around, and somehow, our name keeps getting brought up.

Heres how the scam works:
Unsuspecting band gets a call from 1-800-280-1986, Concert One Booking or Concert First Booking, usually linked with Ontario. They make this pitch that makes it seem like a legit company. They then say they have booked Captain Diet for a show in November, usually a random date, at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY. If the band sounds interested, they then say you need to pay a fee by a certain date, before the show to play.

THIS IS A SCAM. Captain Diet has NO shows booked at the moment. We have NO PLANS on booking shows in November, let alone at the Knitting Factory. If you get this call, DO NOT BOOK A SHOW, AND DO NOT pay the fee. You will get ripped off.

The number they call with is 1-800-280-1986. The Number is listed on numberzoom.com's suspicious 800 number list.

We've had multiple people get this call, and ask us if its a legitimate operation. WE DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY NEVER BOOKED US, WE DO NOT PLAN ON BOOKING WITH THEM.

Just giving everyone a heads up.
