But, as a matter of fact I have been thinking about possible explanations for my prints being on the murder weapon. You see I stopped by Mrs Whitikers house the other day. She was stuggling to plant a new tree in her garden and so I helped her out. That must have been when my prints ended up on the shovel. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm already late for my appointment.
