I Love My Freakin' Rica…	Sep 15, 2009 8:16 PM This is a depressing week for sure! I cant even imagine what its going to be like next week not seeing Guiding Light. I grew up watching it. Watching this week and seeing some of these characters that have been around for many, many years, and knowing that their storylines will just come to a stop just crushes me! And todays episode, my god, left me soooo sad! Alan finally does right, and finally seems to have become a good guy, dies! WTF??? What an emotional roller coaster. I have to end this by simply saying that the show that replaces Guiding Light (Lets Make a Deal) or whatever the hell is not going to be seen by me--ever!!! I wish everyone in the cast, crew, writers, ect. nothing but the best in their future endevours. Its a shame that this particular show has lasted this long, only to come to an end this way. What a history it has! Peace and Love.

I will miss it sooooo much. Im losing something that has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. I will follow some of my favorite characters to the other channel if they go. I always felt the other channel looked to fake for me to watch but now I will be. It just seems we got screwed by P&G and CBS.. I refuse to watch any thing that takes the slot of my favorite soap and put many out of a job. I hope to see the characters move on to bigger and better things. I wish them the Best!!!! I remember spending many a summer down in the family room while she folded wash and watching GL with her and my Mom. Grandma passed a few years ago...but funny whenever I watched GL it brought back those good memories for me... Time to let go
