Haha, i was with you there, but you got me curious... so i looked it up on dictionary. com and it means the same as:bad-tempered, crabbed, cranky, cross, disagreeable, fretful, grouchy, grumpy, irascible, irritable, nasty, and peevish. which mean: can·tan·ker·ous
adj.
Ill-tempered and quarrelsome; disagreeable: disliked her cantankerous landlord.
Difficult to handle: "had to use liquid helium, which is supercold, costly and cantankerous" (Boston Globe).

"we've been friends for as long as i can remember" -great melody. and good songwriting. your voice has really nice tone too man. how old are you? i wish i was as good as you when i was still in school. me and your brothers used to be best friends when we were little. now i haven't seen them in years but i hope we get to play that show on july 14 or 15 i'll let you know as soon as i know and maybe you can try to bring everyone out:)-peace. kevin.
