SURFSCAPEsurfscape contemporary dance	Jun 12, 2009 6:52 PM SDCT directors, dancers, and guest artists will instruct a  one-week dance workshop for pre-professional and professional dancers age 15 and up.  Classes will be offered in modern technique, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, aerial silk, pilates, yoga, counter-balance, partnering, improvisation, conditioning, and dance composition.   July 20-24, 2009 Atlantic Center for the Arts New Smyrna Beach, Florida Cost $225 SCDT will be holding auditions at this time as well. The relay started in 1985 with one person and to date, has had more than 3 million participants, showing that one person can make a difference. By participating, you honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives that have been lost, and raise money to help fight the disease all right here in your community. This years theme “Re- Lei for Life” will take place on Manatee Island with opening ceremonies starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until the sun rises with hope for a cure. The night is filled with games, food, music and events to show you support. There will be many activities around the track that will provide you with opportunities to make donations. The relay is open to the public, so come to celebrate with our survivors, to remember the ones we have lost, and to fight back by showing your support.
