Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. So my best friend is going off to college in Illinois and I feel obligated to tell her about this music, so i will! So I really loved "Praying and Weeping" it sounded a bit similar to God's Tear but it went in an entirely different direction with those exotic sounds and i liked this one more than God's Tear because of that. And "Fond" woah! The simple singing mixed with the beautiful music had so much more of an impact on me than about half the lyrics i hear from bands these days! I love that about basic instrumenal music. oh and "Spirtiual Skyscraper", I feel like an amazingly talented dance group could come up with a pretty amazing dance to this song. It just sounds like it neeedsss to be danced too. And it kinda makes me wish I could dance..or at least fly haha. But My favorite song was "Whenever Ago". The begining sounded like whispers, like a rush, like a memory. It made me remember moments I had forgotten from my past. Both in childhood and then only from a mere two years ago. It was an amazing experience to go through with this song. It took me on a ride. At one point those sound effects made (about one minute and forty seconds into the song) reminded me of killer whale sounds, and I've always loved that sound. It was always so sad but hopeful. Anyway, I loved this song. I loved all your songs and I thank you for your request, it was greatly appreciated because your music is amazing.

i will be taking part in a monthly music series this sunday

HOME GROWN MUSIC takes place at the
Kimball Ave Evangelical Church at 2324 N. Kimball Ave

there will be 4 performers of which i will be playing second.

i will be performing my usual solo percussion set but have recently added some new goodies to my set up (mainly a small toy piano but also a new contact mic on my bass drum!)

this is an all ages show and there is plenty of room at the back of the church for kids to play and goof off as they tend to do so bring your children or any child you may find laying about that could benefit from a live music experience.

dont worry...this is a non church event (even though it takes place at a church) so no one will be trying to shove dogma down the children's throat or anything like that.
